Elly 'transited' at our place before her trip to Poland & Romania with Nadia & Mimie. They'll be flying off from Mimie's place at Birmingham.
She arrive really early Thursday morning, I had to leave her home alone for my aerobics class (my first class.. badan sakit2 sampai skrg cos lama tak exercise!). At about noon, when we both have freshen up, we start hitting the shops! First half was for shoes and bags at Clarks factory shop and M&S outlet store near Woolwich. Then balik for lunch and solat before sambung for second half for clothes at Oxford St. Somehow, we ended up buying identical bag, shoes and baju tido, talk abt having the same fashion sense! 
We were at the shops till 9pm (semua kedai dah tutup baru balik). Kesian hubby sorg2 kat rumah. Sekali sekala takpe la kan?  At least I buat lasagne banyak kan? Hehe
It's always fun to have Elly around. The last time she visited me was when I was still studying in Durham, for another transit before our trip to Spain(Barcelona,Cordoba,Seville and Granada)
Kinda miss spending time with her doing crazy things, travelling together and of course our weekly aerobics with Linda & Joey. Visit2 la lagi ye?

State of our new house to-date.. still W-I-P.. Dining table and garden furniture takde lagi.. and... need more flowers!!  Somehow I feel the pictures dont do justice to the interior of the house lah  It feels more cosy in person..

Yet another Bob the Builder entry...
Sampai2 balik London pindah rumah.
Here are few shots taken last Friday dlm usaha memasang perabot rumah (those self-essembly, Ikea like furniture)
Hubby made like 4 trips to Argos to purchase a coffee table, shoe rack and tv cabinet, going back and forth by bus  carrying them furnitures weighing on average 17kgs each. So kesian.
Hubby pasang the coffee table and tv cabinet and yours truly, single handedly assembled the shoe rack. Mekdai, you ought to be proud of your big sista, at least I'm not that hopeless! Hahah

It's a family affair...
|

We managed to have lunch and dinner with the whole family  (both mine and his.. with every member present..  ) on our last day in Malaysia. It was;
Lunch with his family at Madam Kwan's Mid Valley.
The whole family was in KL, including Ima n hubby Mi who came all the way from JB  ; and
Dinner with my family at Cozy Corner, Jaya 33.
The main topic of discussion is of course - Arif's sport day (.. and him blushing at the mention of the name 'Ayu Jelita')
yes, mekdai, saya suke link to other ppl's blog/fp.. u'll get used to it.. last time in Durham it was Nur's flickr/blog and sometimes Chitah's flickr.. .. hmm.. looking back at Chitah' page.. I know I haven't made an entry for this trip.. seronok betul jalan2.. miss our trips together .. and this outing

Hari Keluarga Haji Omar, Pantai Puteri Melaka

Hari Keluarga with family at mum's side. The fourth Hari Keluarga and yours truly as of other years, is the judge, referee and AJK for sukaneka  .. The night before, me, mak & Umi sibuk buat pizza, I think we made like 30pizza's for the hari keluarga.. but no pictures of making pizza (mcm production line buat pizza) and also the barbecue we had on the first night, la so link to Umi's blog je la for more pictures and details.. (sorry la, too lazy to blog. hehe.. jgn marah ye mekdai.. )

After three days in Malaysia, both me and hubby flew to Langkawi for a 3 days getaway. Some highlights of the vacation;
- Pulau Payar Marine Park - Bought the package by Coral Island for snorkelling and scuba diving. Hubby's first open water diving! Way the go hubby! Started off the day quite early. Took a catamaran from Kuah Jetty to Pulau Payar Marine Park. It was a 75minutes journey and yours truly was given the honour by Captain Azhar to navigate the catamaran for about 40minutes!! Sempat la jugak mengelak 3 fisherman boats and 2 speed boats heading to and from the marine park. Bila dah tinggal about 0.2 nautical miles (approx 3kms) to the marine park, baru pass back to the captain, tak reti nak parking la beb! Hehehe..
- Shopping!!! - pinggan mangkuk, silverware, chocolates! I tell you, I always enjoy seeing hubby shopping. In fact, he is more interested and particular in buying pinggan mangkuk than me! He'll check to make sure all the ends are even, no scracthes etc. Senang keje akak! Hehehe.. Check out Idaman Suri for all the keperluan suri2 rumah (seperti saya)
- Food galore! - makan.. makan.. makan.. One of the best place for cheap seafood is at the Medan Selera Nelayan, Restoran Makanan Laut Sri Malut. Had dinner here once during one of my visits with friends abt 10yrs back and I still remembered the good and cheap seafood they have here! Pestered hubby to find the place and thank God its still there! It's located just about 400m off the junction between Jalan Sri Malut and Jalan Padang Matsirat. The place is a little bit hidden from the main road. Don't get confuse because there are two seafood restaurant there. The restaurant is the second one,near the fish jetty. seafood here are really2 fresh cos the restaurant is run by Persatuan Nelayan Langkawi. And.. most important, the food is really cheap, cheap, cheap! Good and cheap food.. who can resist?? Hehehe.. Even Tun Daim, Nazri Aziz and Dato Azhar Mansoor dines here whenever they are in Langkawi! But you have to bear with the mosquitoes cos its just beside the jetty and mangroves trees..
- Iron man first day release - sempat lagi tgk midnight Ironman kat Langkawi Parade ok!! Btw, this is the one and only cinema in Langkawi..
- Massage @ Sari Alami. My vacation is never complete without a visit to a local spa. After penat diving, jalan2, shopping, the best thing to do is to pamper your body. This cute but tastefully decorated spa is run by locals, and the best part is.. they have male masseurs (which is good for hubby!.. hahaha!). It's a different experience though, from my normal massage with Suliana at Cintasari (yes, yes, I use to have my own personal masseur! ) This one uses more palm, elbow and knuckles compared to Suli whose strokes uses more of her thumbs. So, Suli urut lagi terasa lah! Can't help but to compare Suli to this kakak. Tak sempat la pulak nak pergi Cintasari this time around. Ah.. I miss Suli's strokes and my monthly visits to Cintasari with dear officemates Friday after work.
