Of gardens, castle, beach and going bonkers!

A day out with fellow MBAmates to Alnwick Gardens, Bamburgh Castle by the beach (sandy beach this time!) and later at night.. fancy dress party! Now that classes are over, this is sort of a final get together before everyone goes off for their dissertation and business projects.

Sunny Summer Sunday...
|
|
It was a sunny sunny day last Sunday. Went for a morning walk to the Botanical Gardens with Nur, Anna and Sarah, enjoying the Durham summer blooms. Jadi minah bunga sat.
Later in the afternoon, Kak Wan brought us to the carboot in Seaham. This one is by the beach and is very very huge! If only they had benches along the area. Sakit kaki explore and no place to stop and rest!
The weather was nice and warm, soo much like back home. Everyone was so lightly dressed, to the extent of people wearing bikini walking around at the carboot! Kasik can lah.. They don't get see the sun that often

Scotland...
|

We were in Scotland for 2 days to see for ourselves the Scottish Highlands yg org kata cantik sangat tu.. and man were we not dissapointed.. They were soo beautiful.. Mountains after mountain.. Lochs after lochs (that's lake in Gaelic) of untouched natural beauty.... Just the road and nature, nothing else.. Subhanallah.. Cantik sangat... but not too sure whether they were appropriately captured by the camera lenses..
Rented a car and drove all the way from Edinburgh --> Inverness --> Loch Ness --> Skye --> Fort Williams --> Edinburgh.. that's about 500 miles and 4hrs (day one) + 10 hrs (day two) of driving, in not even 2 days.. Good thing we got a good car. Asked for a small Vauxhall Corsa 1.2 but got a Renault Laguna 2.0 instead! Best gile drive!
Scotland also boast itself for having beautiful castles and castle ruins.. We managed to see about 6 of them along the way.. Memang cantik..
